busgosu
Asturian mythological guardian of the
bosque or forest, part human, part goat, who protects flora
from woodcutters and fauna from hunters or others who would
harm animals. Busgosu is known to help innocent, lost

defilers into ravines or over cliffs. Historically related
to Greek and Roman satyrs, fauns and sylvans.
